Visegrad states are planning on launching their own TV

Recently has been announced the initiative to set up a central European 24/7 news TV channel created jointly by the Visegrad Group countries, namely Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The new media outlet will broadcast news, documentaries and current affairs programmes in English. The assumption is that the V4 TV will be potentially watched not by locals or even only Europeans but also the people of Africa, Middle East and other parts of the world. The station has also broadcast branding materials for the countries of the Visegrad Group, encouraging tourism promoting brands and history of these countries. The news room is going to be located in Cracow, Poland.
